Kara Glynn's extensive photography career as executive producer, studio manager and booker for
legendary photographers including Annie Leibovitz, Richard Avedon and Nan Goldin, led her to
establish her own full service production company. Kara Glynn Productions was launched in New
York City over a decade ago to meet the technological and aesthetic needs of a dynamic industry
with demanding clientele.

Upon graduating from Kenyon College, Kara, a Boston native, headed to New York City where she
accumulated invaluable photography experience at The Avedon Studio as First Assistant and then
as Master Printer. Shortly thereafter, Kara was recruited by Annie Leibovitz to be her Studio Manager.
Kara Glynn Productions later became Nan Goldin’s agent for various projects including the Dior Homme Fragrance campaign. Today, Kara’s new media expertise, insider’s knowledge and attention to detail allow her to produce acclaimed high-end content for editorial and commercial still and motion shoot for discerning clients worldwide.

As an Art Producer, Kara successfully navigated the migration from big budget studio magazine
layouts to produce branded content that speaks to today's audience with affordable budgets. Kara
employs tools and techniques developed from her years of working with the masters of photography. Her tenured skills translate gracefully to an omni world where traditional media and content marketing blend. Kara’s outstanding reputation is built upon attention to detail, persuasive negotiating skills
and honest hard work.
